Our Managing Director Kimberly Olsen has had a broad range of professional experiences including photojournalism and film making, earthworks and construction supervision to environmental science and research, and mining and minerals exploration.
She has been involved in agriculture and natural resource management spanning everything from aquaculture research, plant breeding to designing and running sustainable agriculture projects. She has advised the Australian Govt Science Panel on sustainable agriculture initiatives and programs to deliver environmental gains while increasing profitability and productivity.
She was Technical Specialist at GE, Earthworks Supervisor on the Burdekin River Irrigation Project and Senior Project Officer in the Sustainable Agriculture team at NQ Dry Tropics where she gained a range of skills from NRM project management, precision agriculture and mapping. Previous to that she worked as a technical specialist, consulting to mining and minerals exploration and other industries. She has been involved in aviation since 1979 and been flying drones since 2015. With experience as a chief flying instructor, she understands the value and importance of safety management.
